Make Wudu.
Put some water to boil.
Pray Fajr (or other prayer).
Pour water into mug and put in your favorite tea.
Read one page of the Qur’an while your tea steeps.
Drink your tea while reading the translation/tafseer.
Reflect on those verses.
Write in your Qur’an Journal one thought that comes to your mind.

Try Tea Time with the Lord today. Guaranteed to boost your energy and increase your patience, in addition to multiple rewards in the hereafter.

Asalaam Alaikum Sister,

I think this is a wonderful idea. I have been keeping a Quran journal for about two months now. I do it at the end of the day as I am winding down before bed, after my daughter has gone to sleep. I find it a great way to end my day, and to help me to relax and refocus before I sleep. So, alhamdulilah for a great suggestion, that I second!

Julie: Wa’alaikum assalam warahmatullah. good for you! I’ve been trying to find a way to include reading Qur’an and keeping a journal in my day and i thought that perhaps a cup of tea would be just the thing to motivate me.

Ijtema: Wa’alaikum assalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu. May Allah bless you. Barak Allahu feekum :)

salaams

This sounds great…embracing fajr instead of getting it over with mash’Allah. Going to do this myself insh’Allah.

Assalam alaikum.

That is so nice, Umm Ibrahim. Not difficult at all. May Allah give us baraka in our lives and in our time, Ameen.

As-salaamu’alaykum wa Rahmatu Llahi wa Barakatuhu my dearest sister,

Masha’Allah.. I love this!

Insha’Allah I can put it into practice. Me and journaling don’t go very well.. but the least I can do is try.

Jazak’Allah.
